The Cherry Tree Inn & Suites seeking an eager individual to work in the housekeeping department. The hotel is located in East Bay of Traverse City and offers complimentary on-site parking for employees. The hotel offers benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and hotel discounts after 60 days of employment. Job pays $15.00 - $17.00 per hour. 

As a Room Attendant, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming, change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities as needed, perform deep cleaning tasks, stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis. Dispose of trash and recyclables, respond to special guest request in a timely, friends and efficient manner.

Hotel Housekeeper Job Responsibilities:

1.Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.

2.Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.

3.Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.

4.Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs, cots, extra towels, etc.

5.Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.

6.Reports necessary maintenance items.

7.Follows departmental policies and procedures.

8.Follows all safety and sanitation policies

9.Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.

10.Performs additional duties as needed.
